There's no reason that I picked purple other than I love the color and it is the color of royalty after all! But what do you think about plaid? Seems like I'm seeing it just about everywhere. It could be the memory of a particularly revolting and emotionally scarring dress from elementary school that gives me a sour taste when it comes to this particular pattern or perhaps it's just the image that I associate with plaids and checks, but I've never really been a fan. What say you? Do you love plaids or just not that into them? If you are into them, which of the items above reflect your personal style? As always, I'd love to know!
Another dress by Baby Phat plus, but this one, I'm not sold on it's fabulosity (or that of it's accessories!). I like the dress well enough, I'm just not sure I'm feeling the whole checkered theme.
What about you? Do you like the dress, bag, sandals and all? Or are you not really feeling this whole outfit? I want to hear what you have to say, so as always let me know!
Protecting your eyes from the sun is something that I hope all my curvy divas are doing this summer. Just as you protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, it's just as important to protect your peepers everytime you step outdoors.
Sunglasses come in a variety of styles, sizes and colors that compliment and can even make an outfit. But did you realize that like clothing picking out a perfect pair of sunglasses isn't as simple as picking up a pair that's cute to you. Like body shape should guide you in choosing the clothing that you wear, face shape should steer you in what styles you choose for eyewear.
Touches of bold print such as this Giraffe print tote by Dooney & Bourke and these inexpensive sunglasses can add a touch of playful adventure without overwhelming. The key to wearing prints, regardless if its a tote, a shirt or a shoe is to not over do it. You don't want to look like the giraffe after all!
